Tour at 13:00

We headed out from Hafnarfjörður this afternoon and travelled near to the coast along the Rekjanes Peninsula towards Keflevik. It took us a while to see our first cetacean but eventually we found quite a large pod of White-beaked Dolphins with really small calves. We stayed with them for a while then headed further out and back to Reykjavik Harbour. On the way back we saw a blow and waited a while to see if we could see the whale but no luck. A bit of a windy day with times of showers but generally a nice day with the occasional Rainbow to wish on.

Tour at 09:00

The weather was very nice even though it was raining a bit when we headed out this morning. And the luck was with us. We spotted some harbour porpoises, white-beaked dolphins and one minke whaled showed up three times before disappearing. The dolphins were the stars of this tour. Surfacing many times, all round the bout, only 5-15 meters away and swimming underneath again and again. So, all together very nice tour.
