Report from Eldey: We sailed out in a really beautiful afternoon, hoping to find again the amazing dolphins that we had in the previous tour. Well, we did, and we did it fast! Almost 25 minutes after departure we spotted the first splashes in the horizon caused by a huge amount of white beaked dolphins. It was impossible to determine how many pods there were, since all of them were feeding and socializing together over a quite large area. We estimated again around 40 individuals in total around that area. An impressive view that caused the joy of our passengers. Later on we moved a little bit far out, looking for the whales. And we did spotted a minke whale, although the animal was quite shy and surface only twice. We can feel it! The whales are slowly coming back to the bay!

Report from Eldey: What an incredible morning on the bay ! It started with an amazing weather and excellent visibility, so spotting animals was such a piece of cake. Not even 20 minutes after departure we met a relaxed pod of about 10-12 white-beaked dolphins ! Among them were at least 4 juveniles and their mother. It was surprising to see them that close to the city, and approaching the boat without reluctance. While we would have expected these dolphins of being overcautious with their offspring, they appeared to understand that we did not mean any harms and we were treated with glorious slow surfacing of those animals. After enjoying them for a while, we tried our luck further away, and after joining an area where birds feeding, we found ourselves surrounded by probably more than 50 white-beaked dolphins ! It was a crazy show of cetaceans surfacing quickly and in every directions ! The sea was full of fish for them and they were feasting like there is no tomorrow. Hundreds of pictures were taken, quality time was well spent, and on top of all of that we had sun with us today. We couldn't have asked for more !

We are sailing out from Reykjavik Harbour on a beautiful but a bit cloudy day. There is little to no wind but there could be some movement on the boat out on Faxabay due to the wind over the weekend. Hope you will be able to join us on our search of these magnificent animals today
