Status: RUNNING
We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik today. There is little to no wind but a little rain every now and then. There could be some movement on the boat out on Faxabay due to swells.
Report from Hafsúlan: It was a very nice day to be out at sea, the sun slowly setting and the sea rather calm. We searched for a very long time for cetaceans but birds were the only wildlife we got to see. Together with two other whale watching boats we had to return to the harbour without any sightings. Therefore, we handed out complimentaty tickets to all passengers so that they have another chance to come on one of our tours. These tickets are also valid for Akureyri, our company in the North. Better luck next time, everybody!

Bird species seen on today´s tours include: northern fulmar, eider duck, cormortant, kittiwake, glaucous gull, Iceland gull, black-backed gull and razorbill.
