Tour at 09:00

Report from Eldey: The clouds cleared and the sun shone. Still very cold especially for the second half of the tour when we traveled home head on to the wind. On the the way offshore was however, rather warm with the strong winter sun and very beautiful. The air could not have been fresher to breath. We sailed out to the area we saw the dolphins on the previous tour but they had vanshed and the birds also. We did, a glimpse see a minke whale, one surface and gone again. We searched and waited but unfortunately no more sightings. In the end we offered our passengers complimentary tickets in the hope they would have more luck on their next excursion.

Report from Eldey: We had the first snow of the season in the harbour today and all the fun of shovelling it of the boat. :) Even though it was very cold and we had snow together with a strong wind and a bit of swell, we still had lots of fun on this sea adventure. We were sailing for quite a long time and encountered a huge flock of birds. A flock of this magnitude was not seen in the bay for some time now, but unfortunately, no cetaceans. Only when we changed course and moved away from them did we spot a big pod of white-beaked dolphins. There were maybe 10-15 of them scattered in a larger are. Some of them were curious about us and moved towards us to check us out. We got some really nice looks at them while they were frolicking around us. The beautiful scenery and the abundance of dolphins certainly did it this time.
