Tour at 13:00
Report from Hafsúlan: as this tour would be the last one before the strong storm hit tonight, we were hoping to repeat yesterday's success with the dolphins but sadly we were not lucky once we left Reykjavik harbour. The wind became ever stronger as we were out, the water choppy and covered in white tops, the worst conditions to spot wildlife. At one point we did get a call from another whale-watching boat that told us they had seen some white-beaked dolphins but by that time the distance between the boats was considerable so once we had arrived, the dolphins were gone. We did see plenty of shaqs and cormorants though but that was sadly it for today - hopefully we will get back out on the water very soon.

Birds seen on today's tour include: black-backed gulls, iceland gulls, glaucus gulls, eider ducks, cormorants, european shags.
