Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan and Elding: Today was a day that was definitely worth remembering! We sailed from Grindavík on the south coast, the weather was looking excellent. The sky was blue, the sun was out and the sea was calm. It only took around an hour before we spotted our first blows coming from the water, then as we got closer the blows were joined by some very large, dark dorsal fins. We had Killer Whales, at first we saw a couple of adults with some young orca and as the tour progressed every pod we came across seemed to leave and be replaced by another. In total I believe we saw around 15-20 Killer Whales. And that wasn´t the only highlight! The bird life was incredible, we had more Northern Gannets than I could count flying within metres of the boat and at the end of the tour they were even dive-bombing the water as they fed. It was a day that couldn´t have gone much better.
