 TOUR ON SCHEDULE  | 13:00

Report from Elding: Weather conditions were perfect for spoting. The sea was flat and visibility was great. We added straight to the area where we had our sightings on the previous tour. On our way we found a pod of around 10 white beaked dolphins. They were quite comfortable around us allowing us to stay for a while. Later on we crossed an area packed with fish. Such abundance of prey could only mean good news. Soon we sighted the first out of 4 minke whales! They were allow feeding around the area, sometimes re-surfacing quite close to our vessel. We stayed in the area long enough so that our guests could build their memories and take their pictures, until it was finally time to head back towards Reykjavik.

 TOUR ON SCHEDULE  | 09:00

Report from Eldey: One of the best tours in a while. The sea was like a mirror, the skies were colourful with clouds of a variety of shades and shapes, sun rays shine over the Captiol and rainbows formed in the distance. The wildlife was also abundant with at least 4 different minke whales and a very playful pod or 2-3 white-beaked dolphins. Birdlife was also quite diverse; gannets, guillemots, seagulls, eider ducks, cormorants and a variety of seagulls. It was a perfect morning were everything came together to offer us all a great adventure at sea.

- Megan Whittaker

Birds seen on todays tours include; black-headed gulls, eider ducks, common guillemots, northern gannets, great black-backed gulls, great cormorants.

We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today, the seas are quite calm but there can always be movement on the bay, so if your are prone to sea sickness we have sea sickness tablets available.
