Tour at 13:00

At the same area like this morning we saw many diving gannets. And like the last few weeks we spotted there harbour porpoises. They were a bit difficult to spot today. While waiting for the porpoises we suddenly saw some splashes in the distance. We sailed there and found a group of feeding white-beaked dolphins. They jumped a lot around and fed with many gannets around. The minke whales were a bit teasing us this afternoon! While watching the dolphins we spotted suddenly a blow not so far away but we never saw the whale. We searched for quite a long time and almost on the way back to the harbour we finally spotted one nice minke whale!

Elding & Hafsúla: The wind calmed down again today and the weather was quite good. After a short time searching we already found one really nice minke whale. It surfaced many times somewhere close to the boat and we could watch it very well. After some while it started deep diving more and more and we decided to leave it. Further out in the bay we suddenly spotted a small group of white-beaked dolphins. They kept some distance to the boat but we figured out that they had a calf. Dolphins with calves do that very often but we still could watch them quite well!
