Report from Eldey: It was very windy this morning when we sailed out on the bay. On our way out we traveled with the wind and the swells so the sailing was comfortable. When we arrived to our main sighting areas we shortly found a pod of 7-8 white beaked dolphins. We tried to keep them on our side do more people would be able to see them but that was difficult because they traveled fast. It was nice to see them jumping around and at for a while they swam around our boat and started bow riding. Our ride back to Reykjavík was much bumpier because then we had to sail into the swells. We found one other pod of 5-6 white beaked dolphins on our way back that gave us a nice end to our rather cold and bumpy tour.

Birds seen on today´s tour include: Northern Gannets, Northern Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Eider Ducks, black backed Gulls and great cormorants.
