Tour 17:00

A bit windy and rainy during t our late afternoon tour. We sailed out to the Puffins, quite many all day on the Island and then out to spot whales. We cheched a lot of different places in search for whales and what we spotted was mainly large flock of feeding gannets, artic skuas and gulls. But almost at the end of the tour we finnaly spotted a Minke whale. Ut was so slowly surfacing, even coming towards us, slowly travelling uderwater that it was worhty to wait so long.

Tour 13:00

Still overcast and a little rainy but still Minkes were out in dfaxafloi bay. The stayed shortly at the surface but we could see aorund 4 of them.

Tour 9:00

It was overcast today but it was almost no wind. We salied out first to Lundey then straight to the whales. Our first sighting was very close to coast, we were all suprised in fact to spot a Minke whale out there. It was just 25 m deep. Then we sailed further out and we had 5 more Minke whales to observe.
