Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tour. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey: Wind was coming from north east today, so opposite direction from the high swell we had those last few days. Quite convenient for us it makes it less choppy. We started going toward the north near Esja taking some shelter from the strong wind and crossed a large pod of 8-9 harbour porpoises. They were quite easy to observe with their triangular shaped dorsal fin, piercing fiercely the waves. Unfortunately that was the only sighting we had for this tour. There was information from another boat that dolphins were seen but after looking for them for a while unsuccessfully we decided to continue in other areas. We were out of time and had to come back to the harbour after giving complimentary tickets to our passengers hoping that next time will be luckier.
