Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: It was getting warmer and the cloud cover was not as thick as it had been this morning so the visibility was better. We sailed very far out on the bay and didn’t turn around until we were getting close to Keflavík. When we sailed back we could feel the waves rocking the boat a little bit more. We stopped once when one of our crew members saw a dolphin not so far from the boat. Everyone on the boat started scanning the area, both crew and passengers but sadly that was not enough to spot it again. Because we did not see any cetaceans on this tour we gave all of our passengers complimentary tickets that they can use to get on another tour with us.

Tour at 09:00

Report from Hafsúlan: The wind was blowing from east today so our sailing out on the bay felt soft and warm. We decided to sail more south than we did yesterday to check if we could find any cetaceans there.  But the bay did not seem so lively this morning with only few sea birds flying around us, mainly sea gulls and eider ducks. We went to some areas that we often  get good sightings but unfortunately we could spot any whales there either. Because we were not able to see these animals that we were searching for our passengers received complimentary tickets that they can use to get on another tour with us sometime within two years.
