The weather continued to be rough, strong wind big waves and it was raining like cats and dogs. Still we headed out to Faxaflói bay to try our luck with the whales. But this time the luck was not with us for the big whales. We spent a long time searching and the only whales we found was a big group of Harbour porpoises. They surfaced many times in the waves like they were surfing. So this tour got the name: Water rollercoaster trip.

In a quite rough weather we headed out to Faxaflói bay this morning. But lucky us, just few minutes from the harbour we found a large group of White-beaked dolphins. It was a very playful group, surfacing many times beside our boat and breaching again and again in front of us. Fantastic group. Further out we spotted a group of Harbour porpoises. They surfaced only few times. We spent a lot of time searching and suddenly one Minke Whale surfaced 50 meters in front of the boat, but only one time before disappearing again. So three species in wet and wild trip this morning. Very entertaining trip.
