Tour at 13:00

This afternoon we were very lucky with the weather. Plenty of sunshine and not too cold, but best of all, no wind! The sea was calm and we set off out onto the bay but had to stop the boat quite soon when we spotted a small group of harbour porpoises. These are quite shy animals so they swam away quite quickly so we headed out further and we didnt have to search for very long when we saw a huge splash in the distance. Shortly we spotted the big blow of the Humpback whale. We were able to get very close to the whale and our passengers were able to observe the whale for about 45 mins before we decided to head out further and see if we could spot any dolphins, and we were in luck! We spotted a group of white-beaked dolphins which were very nice to watch, coming very close to the boat and often swimming underneath the boat! Our passengers were very lucky and very happy :) On the way back to the harbour we spotted another group of harbour porpoises, probably 20-30 individuals together. A fantastic trip!!
