Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan and Elding: Both the weather and the sea were in fantastic form today as we sailed from Reykjavík. A clear sky and shining sun lit our way, at the beginning we even got a brief look at Harbour Porpoises that made a quick appearance. As we sailed further on we came across a huge pod of White-Beaked Dolphins, there was at least 100 dolphins in the area! And they weren´t just swimming, there were jumping and leaping in every direction. It was a feast for the eyes, no matter where you looked you would see dolphins! And after spending some time with them we moved and and managed to find both Minke Whales and a Humpback Whale together. The minkes were staying a bit far away but the humpback was, as usual, great to watch. It came very close to the boat on several occasions and was lifting its tail high into the air. A four species day is always a great day, plus the perfect weather made it a beautiful day!

Tour at 09:00

Report from Hafsúlan: The seas were calm as we left the harbour in Reykjavík this morning. It did not take us very long to find the first white beaked dolphins. After we had spent some time with them we decided to head furher. After a while, we found another smaller pod of dolphins. On the way back, a minke whale was spotted but it did not show itself very often or very long, only surfacing two times in a row before diving down for a long time. All in all it was a good tour on a beautiful day.
