Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: Again we sailed out under the conditions of increased wind strength. Because of that we had to take a northern route which placed us close to the Whale fjord. It was an interesting change of scenery, considering that we seldom take this sailing route. We gave our best and strained our eyes looking for the animals, but to no effect. It was just not our day. For this reason we gave our guests complementary tickets for them to try their luck one more time.

Tour at 9:00

Report from Eldey: Facing the wind and swells from west, we sailed out on a truly Icelandic excursion. Everyone being aware of the rough conditions out at sea, our explorer team was in great mood and really excited. We saw the weather around us changing and saw lots of rainbows but the rain never hit us and the sun came out on our back. Half way through the tour we saw some splashes not far from the boat and soon it was clear there were some white-beaked dolphins having fun. Soon we saw northern gannets joining in the feast and more and more dolphins joining, there was clearly some fish in the area. We stayed with the animals for some time but they had disappeared as fast as they had appeared. As this was unfortunately the only sighting, and being quite short, we offered all our guests complimentary tickets to come back and hopefully be more lucky next time.
