Tour at 13:00
It was a really good tour this afternoon! First when we headed out we spotted a big pod of Harbour Porpoises and also two Minke Whales in the same area. We could follow one of the Minke Whales for a long time and this one was also surface feeding. Really amazing to see the pinkish belly of the whale while it was rolling around in the water. Later on we spotted some more Minke Whales quite close to the boat and a lot of seabirds for example the diving gannets - great show! Really really good tour!

Beautiful warm sunshine and hardly any wind in the Faxaflói bay provided for excellent whale-watching conditions this morning! It was therefore not surprising that as soon as we entered our whale-watching area, our first Minke whale appeared, and really close to the boat. In the same area, we soon spotted two other Minkes. They were surfacing all around us, in the end even surface-feeding once. Combined with the amazing sight of diving Gannets, a really pleasant tour! Great start in the day!!
