Tour at 13:00

We started the tour from Reykjavík harbour this time. The sea was calm but it seemed like the ocean was empty, even no birds. Then we spotted a little group of Harbour porpoises. This group was very shy and disappeared very quickly. After a while the captain saw a group of White beaked dolphins. When we came closer we saw there were many families in this area, feeding. And just before we turned  back to the harbour we saw many jumping dolphins in the distance. Nice finale.

Tour at 9:00

We started the tour from Hafnarfjörður harbour. We went immediately to area where we sow the Humpback yesterday, but it had left the area. We saw a lot of Gannets feeding but no whale. So we went further out and kept on searching. Then we spotted some White beaked dolphins. In the beginning we saw a small family group but then we spotted many family groups. Some of them came really close to the boat. It was very nice. But the time was running so we had to turn to Reykjavík harbour. Suddenly we spotted a small group of Harbour porpoises. These are quite shy animals so they swam away quite quickly. Then little later we spotted another group of Harbour porpoises and saw them better. The weather was colourful, sun and a few minutes later rain and then again sun. Great tour.
