Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tour. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 1300

Report from Eldey: It was another cold day today as we headed out. During the very early moments of our tour we spotted lots of seals as we travelled around Videy. In total we saw about 10 grey seals and 5 harbour seals including one that swam super close along the side of our boat. We also saw lots of porpoises early on. There was 7 of them that surfaced regularly around the boat giving us a great view. Whilst all this was happening we were searching for the humpbacks that have remained close for a long time now. It took much longer than usual to find them but eventually we found them both at the foot of Mt Esja. The 2 humpbacks were very close together. They both regularly came up for breaths giving us many really good looks at them. Calamity even rolled at one stage lifting their pectoral fin out of the water which was so cool. We then headed back away from the whales and the wind after a tour full of marine mammals.
