Tour at 17:00

Unfortunately we didn't spot any whales, dolphins or porpoises on this tour. We sailed far out on the bay and saw several areas with many flocks of feeding seabirds (which is usually a very good sign) but no whales were seen :-(

Report from Hafsúlan: Today we had really nice weather and we sailed around the bay for about 3 hours. About half way through the tour we spotted a really nice group of White-beaked dolphins which we were able to stay with and follow for about 30 minutes. This pod of about 10 dolphins was really nice and playful and our passengers got a good look at them. On the way back we stopped to look at the puffins on Akurey.

Report from Elding: On this tour we spottted again a group of white-beaked dolphins. They were very busy with feeding in the beginning, but than they started swimming fast and we almost lost them. We found them again and all in a sudden a minke whale appeared just beside of the boat to the excitement of our passegers. The minke whales surfaced several times close to the boat and dissappeared again!

This morning we spotted a group of white-beaked dolphins. They were fast swimming and speeded up a lot. We had to work hard to keep up with them but managed to stay for a short while with them.
