Tour at 13:00

The fog was thicker this afternoon when we headed out. The visibility was approximately. 150 meters only but we took the challenge and when searching for the whales. We wanted to see if our dear friend Mr. Humpback whale was in the same area as it was this morning. And voilà there it was the same humpback whale from this morning and the day before! And again we stayed with this nice whale for some time but sometimes it was hard to find it again due to very thick fog! On the way back we spotted a small pod of white beaked dolphins! Very nice surprise on the way home!

The fog was still there in Faxaflói bay when we headed out in search of the whales. We were still in Reykjavík harbour when we spotted white beaked dolphins! This was really great and the guide wasn't even finished with the safety speech. We stayed with them for few minutes until we headed further out. We sailed for quite long time in the fog, but then a passenger spotted a blow! And there it was a humpback whale! This whale was also seen yesterday and possibly the day before! We could stay with this nice humpback for a while, as it surfaced close to the boat and showed us the fluke few times. Really nice tour!
