Tour at 13:00
Report from Eldey: This winter keeps getting warmer than expected ! It led to relatively merciful temperatures today, but the full body suits we provide on board were still much welcome. The way out in Faxafloi proved to be a challenging ride, the swell was quite soft but ample, and some green faces soon showed up. But our captain know his way around, and once we were on a stable course the sailing got calmer. To our demise, our efforts were mostly fruitless. We did come across a couple of pods of 3-4 harbour porpoises though. They were quick and elusive, but some passengers could catch glimpses of those tiny adorable animals. It was fun to witness their tiny blow in comparison with their bigger relatives ! But the fun was short, and the sightings we had were not sufficient. As usual we offered the complimentary tickets necessary for having another try, and we wish the best of lucks for our future returning passengers !
