Tour at 13:00
Again we sailed out in a beautiful weather. We headed out to Lundey to look at some puffins but there were no puffins to see, only few flying around the island, they were all out at the bay. Than we headed out to Faxaflói bay, after a while we spotted a great group of harbour porpoises, surfacing few times very close to the boat. Than we spotted a big group of diving gannets, they were spectacular to look at, and in that area we saw our first minke whale, in total we saw at least 4 minke whales they all surfaced very close to the boat so we were able to see them under the surface and see their white flipper. And they surfaced all around us, and we also had the Gannets all around us for a while. So overall a great tour.

We sailed out in a beautiful weather, sun was shining and calm sea. After visiting the puffins in Akurey we sailed out to Faxaflói bay, it didn‚Äôt take a long time until we spotted very nice group of harbour porpoises. They were surfacing all around us, and very close to the boat, and we were actually spotting them all over throughout the whole tour. Soon after the first group we spotted a minke whale, it surfaced few times and also very close to the boat, than we spotted another minke whale very close by and that one was also really nice. Very nice tour that we had today.
Birds seen on the tour: gannets, fulmars, puffins, guillemots and arctic terns.
