Tour at 1300

Report from Elding: Since the weather was rough today in Reykjavík we decided to go out from Grindavík instead. This decision turned out to be a good one. After only about 15 minutes of sailing we found a family of Orca (Killer Whales). There were two males, showing of their dorsal fin and then there was a tiny calf among them. Despite there being schools of hering at a depth of 30 to 55 meters, the killer whales spent most of their time swimming slowly and calmly at the surface. We managed to get very close to them so we could hear them breath and see their blow holes. Great tour on a bright, windy day.
