✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00

Report from Elding: Weather was far away from what we would expect from a summer day, but despite cold and rain we had fun. We had to cover big distance before we met whales and on the way we enjoyed rich bird life: puffins, manx shearwater, gannets, storm petrels and guillemots whit their chicks. Once we saw the blow our attention was only for whales. We saw around 6 humpback whales feeding and swimming in small area of the bay. Some of them came very close to the boat, acting naturally like we were just part of environment. We watched them going for short dives thus they weren´t showing their tails often - but when finally some of whales lifted their flukes they got loud applause. from our passengers. Between humpbacks there was also one minke whale but not as easy to be seen. At the end, just outside of Reykjavik we saw two big black objects emerging from the sea - a real submarines. It was exciting afternoon.

✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 09:00

Report from Elding: It was a gloomy morning with dark, overcast skies threatening rain. The seas were also a little choppy today to but we were not detered, we dressed up warm and headed out. After an hours sailing we saw two very active humpback whales and at least 3 minke whales. The humpbacks were definitely the stars of the show. rolling, lunge feeding and enjoying the plentiful food available. It was incredible out there. On the way home we had a much smoother tour and listened to some music too.
