Tour at 13:00
The whales were even more difficult in the afternoon. We spotted two minke whales but both dived always a long time between the breathing. We saw three times just the blow the first whale. The second one we could see better. Actually we could smell the minke whales, but they kept mostly hidden. But this is nature and we hope that they will move soon to more shallow areas where they don't dive such a long time.
Tour at 9:00
The day started with sunshine and it was beautiful out there in Faxafloi bay. We had some minke whlaes today, but somehow the whales made it very difficult for us. In the beginning of the tour the whales came up to the surface to breath and disappeared soon. But at the end of the tour we found an area with several minke whales and there we could watch two whales surfacing several times!
