Report from Hafsúlan: This morning we went out from the Reykjavik in search of cetaceans. We started our tour traveling along the coastline towards Akranes. since no animals were spotted we turned the boat, moving in the direction of Keflavik, which is on the Reykjanes Peninsula. Even though the weather conditions out at sea were not perfect, we still managed to spot a small pod of white- beaked dolphins with at least 2 individuals. Additionally we also encountered 2-3 different minke whales in the popular Márfló area. Since the sightings were very short and most of our passengers on board didn´t get a good look of the animals on this rough ride we offered them complimentary tickets, valid for 2 years.

Bird species seen on today's tours: northern gannets, northern fulmars, razorbills, common guillemots, shags, glaucous gulls, arctic terns, puffins, black-backed gulls, kittiwakes, eider ducks.
