Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tour. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Eldey: A stunning afternoon to be out on the bay. We started our tour with calm seas and a huge sun shining and filling the entire skybowl with its light. Today we found a humpback whale that we call Dragon as it has a dragon drawing on its fluke. It was also seen this summer on the 17th july and the 30th of september. It was swimming quite erratically, it looked as it was feeding. Eventually it popped up very near the boat showing that it was not fussed at all about our and the other whale watching vessels present. It was a very special encounter with this individual and we have enjoyed our time with it. It was also nice to see a variety of birds, especially all the red-breasted merganser,  fulmars and the enchanting flying flocks of European shags.
