Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: In pretty windy and rainy conditions we sailed out from Reykjavík today. However, the sea conditions were surprisingly good and spotting cetaceans would not have been difficult. We covered the southern part of Faxaflói on our tour today but unfortunately didn't find any cetaceans despite the good conditions, and even birds were barely around today. In the end it got even more windy as we headed back to the harbour and our passengers got a taste of the Icelandic winter weather. Of course we offered all of them our complimentary so that they can come on another tour with us for free within the next two years. Hopefully we will be more lucky on the next tour.

Bird species seen on today's tour include: northern fulmars, great black-backed gulls, Iceland gulls, glaucous gulls, cormorants, and razorbills.
