✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE |  13:00

Report from Eldey: The tour again started with sunshine above us and calm sea state. 45 minutes into the tour we spotted a single juvenile humpback whale that was staying close around the boat and was even turning around on it’s back in a very relaxed manner. Since the whale was not yet in our catalogue we decided to ask our guests for their vote on the name. We picked that the name for the whale will be Indie. Later in the tour we managed to see 4 minke whales swimming calmly around us. Just in time! There was a thick fog covering us immediately after that lasted for half an hour. Finally, we saw the sun and it was indeed a good end to a great tour.

✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE |  9:00

Report from Elding: The perfect morning. Mirror-like seas, snshine, near to no wind. After 30 minutes of sailing that we spotted a rather big pod of at least 15 white-beaked dolphins spread out in a larger area. They were foraging and socialising with each other and we enjoyed their presence for a good while but, knowing there was more further out, we carried on with the tour. Another half an hour later we saw 2-3 harbour porpoises and shortly the first of what would at the end total up to be at least 25 minke whales in this tour. Another pod of 5 dolphins came around, harbour porpoises were everywhere and then, to put the icing on the cake, we encountered a pair of humpback whales that finished off the tour with a beautiful lifting of their fluke as we sailed back to the harbour. What a finish.
