Tour 13:00

Good wether conditions and sea conditions for this afternoon tour. We did go a bit further out than this morning and that´s where we spotted a group of 4 white-beaked dolphins. Manye flocks of birds were on the way, so that we could enjoy some birds life as well. Puffins start to be abundant out at sea and vey much present in flock of feeding seabirds.

Tour 9:00

We had so many passengers that we had to take two boats out this morning. One boat, Hafsúlan, soon spotted a nice group of harbour porpoises. These usually very shy animals crossed our path ahead of the boat. They swam rather fast but surfaced a lot and we could watch them very well. In the same area we spotted our first minke whale. But we weren't patient enough to wait, as we had already spotted another one in the distance. The other boat, Elding, waited longer and got to watch the first minke whale quite well. The second minke whale disappeared soon, but later Hafsúlan found a third minke whale which was a really nice one.

A good day to go out at sea even if there were few white caps. We could spot in fact, 3 Minke whales close to coast, which surfaced very close to our boat allowing us to fully enjouy these beautiful big creatures.
