Tour at 13:00

We went out at 13:00 in wonderful weather, sunshine but quite cold. After an hour’s sailing we saw the first White Beaked Dolphins and there seemed to be many around. At this time we were outside Hafnarfjörður. It took us some time to find a bigger whale but finally a blow and a tail. We found a Humpback. It was very close to the harbor of Hafnarfjörður, feeding on herring. It came close to us a few times and we were able to take some pictures of the underside of its tail. It turned out it was a new individual which we have not seen before in the area. We stayed with it for half an hour, always with some dolphins around, before turning back to Reykjavík. Nice tour.
