We are sailing out from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik today. We predict relatively calm weather today.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey:  Conditions today were almost perfect for whale watching as we sailed out from Reykjavik harbour. There was little wind and calm seas, enabling us to see for miles. Sailing in the Faxa bay we were surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains on almost every side with light cloud cover and the setting sun over the Reykjanes peninsula. We could also see all the way to Snæfells glacier way off in the distance. All in all it was a beautiful afternoon but despite our best search efforts we were unable to locate any cetaceans today. Hopefully our passengers were able to enjoy the tour though and as compensation for their efforts we gave everyone a complimentary ticket good for another whale watching tour in the next 2 years. We hope to see all you guys again!
