Status: RUNNING

We are sailing out from Reykjavik Harbour today. The forecast predicts some wind from the east and we might experience swells.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: We sailed out from Reykjavík on this beautiful but extremely cold winter day. As recommended, most of our passengers were wearing our nice overalls during the tour to stay warm and warmed up with hot beverages. We sailed along the Reykjanes Peninsula and on this clear day we were still able to also see the Snæfellsnes Peninsula on the opposite side of the bay. After 1,5 hours we made a turn and got the wind in our faces making it even colder. However, some tough passengers remained outside the entire tour, well done! Unfortunately, we didn't see any whales or dolphins on this tour, so that everyone was given a complimentary ticket valid for two years - hopefully with whales or dolphins on the next tour!

Bird species seen on today's tour include: northern gannets, northern fulmars, Icelandic gulls, glaucous gulls, great black-backed gulls, cormorants and razorbills.
