Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: Finally the strong winds subsided giving us the opportuntity to venture out to see if the whales were still around. We left the harbour in Grindavík with very high hopes as the days before the storm were very successful. We sailed around for a while and found a large pod of Harbour Porpoises, one of the largest pods i´ve ever seen travelling together, maybe 20-30 individuals. After them we were not having much luck as it wasn´t until 5 minutes before reaching the harbour again that we found a pod of White-beaked Dolphins which were mainly milling around and resting. Perfect ending to the tour having them close to the boat in flat calm sea and the sunset. Beautiful time of day to be out on the water.
