Tour at 13.00
The headed out into Faxaflói bay the weather was really nice. We spotted some diving Gannets and soon also a Minke Whale in the same area. The stayed in the area and got so lucky we spotted two other Minke Whales and many diving Gannets around us. The Minke Whales surfaced all around the boat and many times were really close to the boat surfaced only 20 meters away from the boat. A really successful and nice tour!!!
Tour at 09:00
The weather was quite nice when we sailed out this morning. After sailing for some time we spotted splashes far away. It was from breaching White-beaked dolphins. When we came closer they had stopped breaching and we only saw few fins and sadly just a short while. We continued our search and spotted one Minke whale. It surfaced only few times and always far away from the boat. So all the whales were quite difficult this morning. Lets hope they will be in a better mood this afternoon.
