✔ CLASSIC TOUR ON SCHEDULE |  13:00

Report from Elding: The sea was still really calm and it was pleasant to sail out. We had some rain during the tour and we finished a bit wet. During the tour I could see 5 minke whales but they were really elusive so the passengers could clearly see only two of them. The first one was probably the easier to observe surfacing a few times at a respectful distance from the boat. After a while the animal disappear and we searched more in the north of the bay, We finally had a really nice sighing with 2 simultaneous minke whale surfacing, one at 50 meters the other much further. Meanwhile we were waiting the whale to surface again, I was describing to our passengers a group of northern gannets plunge-diving when the minke decided to appear in the middle of the birds. During the way back we stopped again close to Reykjavik because a minke whale appeared near us, but only the few passengers still outside despite the rain could see this one. We had to leave but I could spot another minke even closer of Reykjavik.

✔ PREMIUM TOUR ON SCHEDULE |  10:00

Report from Þruma RIB: Finally we had flat calm seas on today's tour, we could go fast and for miles in these conditions. It was only on the way back that the wind picked up and the rain started. We got to see at least 4 different minke whales and 4 white-beaked dolphins; two mothers and two calves. All were very easy to spot in these flat sea conditions and the seabirds were a lot of fun too. We had fulmars landing next to the boat and northern gannets flying overhead and puffins popping up and down nearby also. It was a very nice, fun rib tour today.
