Report from Hafsúlan: The wind was starting to pick up alittle bit and it rained on and off with bursts of sunshine in between creating beautiful rainbows. We sailed quite offshore in the hope of having the same encounted as the morning. We heard from another whale watching vessel about some dolphins and so off we went but apparently they were only seen a couple of times before vanishing into the deep blue. we then saw a Minke Whale but like the dolphins it surfaced twice and vanished. Some passengers saw it but still we felt that this tour was a complimentary allowing passengers to come back again with us.

Report from Hafsúlan: This morning was lovely. We had calm seas and sunny skies. We didn´t have to sail long before our sister vessel skrúður radioed to tell us about some White-beaked Dolphins. They were everywhere maybe 30+ animals. At first they were quite elusive and made it difficult to show the passengers so we were just going to leave them alone and venture further out to sea but then suddenly they started to jump and come come towards us, looked like they were chasing fish which was interesting to observe, they were surfacing this direction and then that just meters or so from the boat. As they heading away again so did we and after about 30 minutes we heard again from Skrúður about a Minke Whale we were able to see 4 or 5 times before it dove down and we had to head home.
Birds seen today include, Gannets, Fulmars, Glaucous Gulls, Black backed Gulls, Cormorants and Eider Ducks.
