Tour at 13:00

The weather today was pretty good, a bit wet but the swell had gone down. We headed out really looking forward to find out what the day was going bring us. After sailing for about an hour we found our first pod of White-beaked Dolphins, there were about 20-30 of them together, not so faraway we then found another similar sized pod but when we were leaving this group is when the fun started, we saw huge splashes there in the distance and when we got closer to the area we noticed that this was an even bigger pod of White-beaked Dolphins, hundreds together, they were leaping out of the water all around us, breaching/ jumping so you could see the whole body in the air. We soon had to leave them if we wanted to get a change to see the bigger whales and while we were sailing away the dolphins started to follow us, swimming behind us in the waves. After sailing for a while we then got to the area where we found the Humpback Whales yesterday and on Friday, after staying in the area for quite a while we all started thinking that maybe they had moved to a different area. There were a lot of birds in the there, the weather was nice and the only thing missing were our little friends. We took a big circle but we had to start turning the boat since we were really far out already. Soon we noticed a familiar splash and there they were BREACHING out of the water, what a welcome back cheer, the same Humpback Whales since the days before.. we stayed with them for as long as we could and they sure didn't disappoint us, they breached out of the water, spy hopped, tail slapped again and again and it was so spectacular, really awesome. But this couldn't last for ever and eventually we had to get back to the harbour, what a great day to end the weekend.
