Report from Eldey: Another day of incredible lighting and a incredible scenery. I'm very happy that on this tour we managed to avoid all of the rainy clouds and have most of the tour with the November sun warming us a bit. It was quite suddenly that we noticed 40 min away from the harbour a black fin 350 meters on out 1 o'clock. It was a juvenile minke whale. Ita came ridiculously close to us and at one point we could track it's movement under the water, by it's white patches on is dark pectoral fins or flippers. What an encounter! We couldn't have wished for a more awesome interaction with this young animal.

Report from Eldey: The weather was stunning this morning! The sunrise lit the landscape with orange colors. Although there was hardly any wind there were long swells almost 2 meters hight. These conditions were fantastic for whale watching! Soon a large splash was spotted! It turned out to be a active minke whale! On each side of the minke whale were 2 white beaked dolphins! They were active and jumped out of the water frequently. All there of them, the minke whale and the dolphins made splashes when they surfaced. Soon after we arrived the dolphins started swimming and jumping around us, clearly interested in the boat. A pod of 5-6 harbour porpoises swam by while the minke and dolphins were close to the boat. 3 other minkes and another pod of 4 harbour porpoises were seen later on the tour. This was a trilling tour packed with sightings!
