Report from Hafsúlan: A blue sky day greeted us on an afternoon where we experienced every Mother Nature represented! At the beginning the swell was quite high so we sailed for the shelter of Hvalfjörður, we got a fantastic view of the mountains Akrafjall and Esja and the sea was almost still here so our sailing was beautiful. We didn´t see any cetaceans there so we sailed back further in Faxaflói, after some more searching we still couldn´t see anything so started to head back to Reykjavík. Then out of nowhere behind us some White-Beaked Dolphins were spotted, and there were in a crazy mood! They were jumping higher than I´ve ever seen dolphins jump before and did it over and over again! Mother Nature is an unpredictable yet totally beautiful force and we had the pleasure of seeing that this afternoon.
