Tour at 17:00

Cancelled due to rough conditions out at sea.

Tour at 13:00

The wind was picking up a lot this afternoon but we headed towards another area that we didn't try this morning. A long the way we spotted a large pod of Harbour Porpoises but they were moving very quickly and disappeared after surfacing briefly close to the boat. We then headed a bit further out before turning back to the harbour. When we were getting closer to the harbour we spotted a blow from a Minke Whale. We stayed in the area for a while but we didn't see the whale again until we were about to leave a passenger spotted the whale again. We saw it surface about 3 times and then it went for a long deep dive again. We then headed to Lundey to see the Puffins. There were not many Puffins on the Island but few of them were flying around it. There were also some Kittiwakes on the Island and Lesser Black-backed Gulls. During the tour we spotted many other birds as well like Puffins, Gannets, Guillemots, Razorbills, Kittiwakes, Lesser Black-backed Gulls, Fulmars, Arctic Terns Shearwaters and Arctic Skuas.

Tour at 09:00

We headed straight out to Faxaflói bay this morning. There were so many birds out on the bay during this tour; Puffins, Gannets, Guillemots, Razorbills, Kittiwakes, Lesser Black-backed Gulls, Fulmars, Arctic Terns and Arctic Skuas. But unfortunately after a long search we didn't spot any whales.
