Report from Eldey: The shelter from the harbour and mountains this morning gave us a false hope for a calm windless sailing. Once we got away from the protection the NE winds were felt, This didn´t effect the sea conditions much though and we had a relatively smooth sailing. It was beautiful though, clear skies, a warm sun and lots of birdlife. We also got to see a small pod of about 5 harbour porpoises near the end of the tour in a feeding frenzy. They are soooo fast and hard to photogarph but they were fun to watch nonetheless. Unfortunatly no whales or dolphins so we offered our passengers complimentary tickets to come again for free in the next 2 years and we really hope they do.

Birds seen on todays tour include; great cormorants, black-legged kittiwakes, northern gannets, black-backed gulls, eider ducks, common gulliemots and black-headed gulls.
We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today. If your are prone to sea sickness we have sea sickness tablets available.
