Report from Eldey: The conditions at the sea were getting better and better and we enjoyed incredible sailing conditions. The sea had a metalic reflection which was beautiful in contrast with the snowy mountains. We sailed across the south part of Faxafloi and we covered a big area, but unfortunately we couldn´t find any sign of cetacean presence. For that reason we offered complimentary tickets, maybe next time we will be more lucky.

Report from Eldey: Morning surprised us with heavy snow fall, we were worried a little as that could affect our visibility but it was over even before we started our trip. We sailed towards calms waters of Faxa bay, enjoying landscape and looking for some signs of cetaceans. Nature around was as much relaxed as we did. After an hour some passengers shouted 'blow' and they were correct, a minke whale came up not far from us. Whale was moving a fast, often changing directions but we were able to take a good look at this animal when it was surfacing. Our impression is that it was same individual seen in Sunday so our first minke whale 2019 is still hanging around and we are looking forward to see him more often.
