Tour at 13:00 Report from Hafsúlan: Hopes were very high today due to the amazing sightings we have been having over the last few days. We sailed out from Reykjavik harbour in nice weather. The sea looked mirror calm but as we started to head further offshore then the winds picked up and the seas had more of a roll to them. We sailed out far offshore to where we have been seeing the whales in previous days but unfortunately no luck. We did however get to see 5 pods of White-beaked Dolphins that were surfacing close under and around the boat. The first 4 pods had about 5-10 animals in each and the 5th pod maybe 20-30 individuals. Obviously a dolphin bay today. Lets hope the whales will be back tomorrow.

Seabirds seen today include; Eider Ducks, Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Glaucous Gulls and Black-backed Gulls.
