Tour at 13:00

It was getting windier by the day but the clouds were going away so the sun was able to shine down and warm us up. We went to see if we could find the dolphins again from the morning tour, when we arrived to the area we could find them but instead we saw 3 harbour porpoises swimming by. It is often hard to follow the porpoises because it is hard to spot them because of their small size. It took us a long time to find something else but then we got a call from another boat that they had seen som dolphins but when we came to the area the dolphins were elusive and hard to find. We sailed around for some time and finally we spotted three White-beaked dolphins, they swam around in the area for a while. It was a nice surprise when we spotted two other dolphins a little further and we also went towards them to enjoy their company. This was a nice ending after a long time of searching.

Report from Hafsúlan: it was cold and the sky was covered with clouds but it was not windy and the sea was nicely calm. We sailed to the areas where we had gotten the best sightings on yesterday’s tours. We found two white beaked dolphins after a short searching. They swam around the boat for some time, sometimes we thought we had maybe lost them but they always showed up again. Then we noticed more dolphins that were travelling by, four came toward us and gave us a beautiful show.  We decided to keep on going further out on the bay to look for something else but unfortunately we couldn’t before we ran out of time and had to go back to land.
