✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | at 13:00

Report from Eldey: Our passengers on today's tour definitely proved to be ready for Iceland! When we left port, it began to snow and hail and, despite it being a bit warmer than yesterday, temperatures are still below freezing point and winds had picked up. But dressed in out overalls we could stay dry and fairly warm on our search for whales. We headed out to look for our humpback whale that's become very comfortable in Kollafjödur, though today it took us much longer than the past 2 weeks to find it. On our search though we already saw many bird species, 3 harbour seals and a harbour porpoise. Then, finally, the blow of the humpback whale! It was between Viðey and Engey island, a different place form usually, but as we were watching it, it began traveling back into the direction of where it's been sighted most. We got some very close surfaces, once within less than 30 meters of our boat, and also some beautiful flukes. Overall the whale was very calm and predictable today, making it perfect for photos and videos.
