Report from Eldey: Temperatures were on a rise since yesterday, and we got a comfortable sailing out as the wind was on our back. The main wildlife we witnessed during the first half of the tour was various sea birds. We saw our usual puffins, arctic terns or gannets, and we had the surprise to see a manx shearwater that we hadn't seen in a while. After reaching half of the tour we started to turn back, and since the wind was blowing against us it got a bit chilly. But fortunately it didn't make the trip any bumpier, so the cruise remained relaxed. Sadly enough, we didn't spotted any whale. We did see a blow at some point but never found the animal. Therefore, we issued complimentary tickets to any adventurer that is willing to try again.

- Guillaume Calcagni

Bird species seen on today's tour include: manx shearwater, eider duck, Atlantic puffin, black-legged kittiwake, northern gannet, great black-backed gull, lesser black-backed gull, northern fulmar, arctic tern, black guillemot, razorbill, common guillemot & great cormorant

We are sailing out from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik today. There is some wind and there are swells out on Faxabay so if you are sensitive to motion sickness we do offer sea sickness tablets at the ticket office free of charge. All our boats have inside and outside areas and to make the tour even more comfortable we provide warm overalls.
