Tour at 13.00

We sailed out from Hafnafjörður again, because of the good chance to encounter whales in this area. Today the wind and the rain made the searching a little bit more difficult then the days before. But after quite a while out on sea we found two (maybe even three) Humpback Whales. They were busy feeding and showed amazing behaviours such as tail slapping, logging and lunge feeding. Again the fish finder showed us that there is still a lot of herring in the bay, we could even see the fish jumping out of the water, trying to escape the whales. A wet and cold but great day in the incredible wildlife of Faxaflói Bay!
