Report from Elding: Very few passengers joined us this afternoon making this trip more personal and more cosy. In this friendly moods we headed straight to the area where we watched feeding animals all day, hoping that they haven't eaten all fish yet. Flocks of gannets were seen from distance and soon close to a fishing boat we saw a big blow. It was a humpback whale, the same hungry individual seen previously. This time we were the only boat there and we had all show just for us. It was spectacular! The whale was lunge feeding so close to the boat that if we wish we could count baleen plates in it's mouth! There was also a minke whale around and watching these two together was a very special experience. On our way back the weather suddenly changed and strong wind picked up so we just enjoyed our company inside of our boat.

Report from Elding: This tour was quite diversified, as we got to observe the 4 most frequently sighted species in our bay. We got to have a glimpse of 2 - 3 white beaked dolphins and 4-5 harbor porpoises. We could spend some time with 3 minke whales as they were foraging. But the highlight of our tour was an incredible humpback whale! First time we saw it it was jumping out of the water. From that moment everyone knew we were about to have a great sighting! We were able to observe this animal for quite a while until we had to go back to Reykjavik. Another great tour with Elding!

Report from Elding: It was a rainy and cloudy morning but perfectly flat sea recompensed this small inconvenience. We were sailing quite long watching puffins and other sea birds. Soon we started to see some harbour porpoises around a fishing vessel and a minke whale. It was a feeding frenzy as minke whales and harbor porpoises were all around us, We saw probably around 8 - 10 different minke whales! They were feeding on sand eel as we saw that fish was carried by birds. When we decided to go further we stopped to take a look at another whale which was a humpback whale. This whale was also hungry and we watched him lunge feeding. What an exciting morning!
